"The Guild Banker is thee most important position to hold in the guild. This person is the most trusted in the guild,
therefore a RL buddy to the guild master or someone that you've known for a long time online? You get the idea, NOT Joe
Schmo. A bad guild banker can start all sorts of drama for your guild, can cause it to break, and can cause the ppl in the
guild to get a very bad reputation. This is why the banker is held in the highest and most trusted regards."
Affiliates: - Most everyone
on Eredar.
While we have a good time in whatever we do, we do have several ideals and behaviors that we seek in prospective guild
members, and hold our current members to...
Honesty
- Trust amongst guild members is
simply required; we share so freely, and you can't build trust without honesty.
- Dishonest behavior will not be tolerated.
Reliability
- Another way to build trust is by being dependable. When
sticky situations occur, you need to know your guild mates are there.
Accountability
- Be accountable for your actions, whether they are
right or wrong.
- We all make mistakes, but correction for your and our bettering is the goal.
Respectful
- Treat any individual as you would expect to be treated.
If someone acts disrespectfully towards you, do not retort in a negative manner. - Public mediums be it Public Chat, Guild
Chat or forums should exhibit conduct fit for all ages playing the game. We ask that all members keep the chats clean and
respectful to others. - During any run, be it in-guild or a pick-up, we ask that members remain respectful, honest and friendly
to the group.
Friendly
- This is a game, and we all expect to have fun. If you need
to take out your aggressions, do so against the Horde. - We ask that all these come to mind whenever you're adventuring. You're
actions represent us to the rest of the community, so wear your guild tag and tabard with pride.
If a guild member requests a piece of armor/weapon/potion/item to be crafted by another guild member, the crafter should
be happy to do so for no more then the cost of materials. Rare Items that are not a NEED of the party or an alt should be
sent to the guild bank. To make a withdrawal it is requested that you make a similar deposit, or deposit an item on the Guild
Need list. Also, when you come across an item that can be used in a craft you don't possess, send it to someone in the guild
who needs it, or the guild bank. Remember, even though some of these items can be sold for money, they can also be used to
increase skill levels, which equates to cooler items for the guild down the road.
Please refrain from linking items in Guild Chat with the intent to sell/trade. Also please do not make public demands to
sell items to other guild mates. Another action that is not tolerated would be that of begging, be it through tells or public
chat.
These actions are highly frowned upon if done, they belong in tells.
---You are here to have fun---
You
are not here to grind or Raid until your spouse divorces you or you cancel classes. There will be Raid schedules. The schedules
will not be obnoxious, nor will there be obligations to attend (no attendance means no loot, however). We hope you attend
because it will be fun.
If
you are hard-core raider wanting to blow through content like it’s a game of checkers, then this guild is not for you.
If you like to have fun with other people and get some tight loot in the process; then you have come to the
right place.
---The Loot Council---
The loot council will
comprise of one leader representing their class, a total of 8 class leaders. Players should respect the decisions made
by their class leader as well as the raid leader or his subordinates who will be labled as assistant raid leaders and will
most likely be the class officers. Any loot you may want or need should be taken up and discussed with not the guild
leader, but your class leader or posted on your class section of the THC forums. We will try to distribute loot as evenly
as possible and don't be upset if you do not recieve anything one week, because the following week you could possibly make
out with multiple items. Like I said, we will distribute loot as fairly as possible so that no one feels they are getting
'shafted'.
"And people, don't overreact when someone gets
loot over you, try to give your complaints in a constructive manner, preferrably here on the forums, but either way, you'll
probably recieve that loot anyways in time, or mebbe something even better! *forces you to think BWL* >_>" -Edicus.
The best way to go
about asking for loot will be to discuss it with your class officers before the raid or by making a post on your class section
of the forums. It would be wise on your behalf to alert your class leader before the raid of items you may need or want,
this could possibly increase your chance to recieve the item when it drops.
-Priority will always
be awarded to the current members in the raid.
-Members who have shown
an extreme interest in the guild by having ctraid, getting on ventrillo, joining in on guild discussions, and registering
and posting on the forums may also have priority over other members who have neglected to contribute and are seemingly just
along for the ride and free epixx.
---RAID RULES---
Attendance
Be ready for an invite 30 minutes before posted start
time (eg. be online at 11:30am and ready for an invite for a 12:00pm raid). Invites will start at exactly that time, not before.
Being on time means being polite to your fellow guildies. Do it.
Invite Order
People will be invited based on GEM order, per class. We need a balanced group. Substitutes listed
in GEM will be invited to fill each class space starting at 30 minutes before the raid. We DON'T wait until 10 minutes before
to add subs. Punctuality should be rewarded.
Preparation
Remember to purchase everything you need before raid start time. Priests with 5 sacred candles are
useless. Everyone, bring Heavy Runecloth Bandages. If you don't have enough First Aid skill - get it.
Repairs
Repair all of your
equipment before the invite time. Repair bots won't be used until some equipment goes red or at least yellow. It's a waste
of money and time for one person to hold up a raid in this way. (Currently you can donate mats for bots to Gimmers; x12
Thorium Bar x4 Rugged Leather x1 Fused Wiring x2 Elemental Earth x1 Elemental Fire)
Follow Orders
Keep up with all raid chat. This is where all of your orders come from.
AFK
Don't do it. Simple as that. Again, this is disrespectful to everyone's time.
UI Mods
Come to the raid with
CT_Raid and CT_RABossmod enabled. If you think a mod of any kind is causing problems with your UI (user interface) disable
it before the raid.
-----TEAMSPEAK AND VENT-----
Even if you do not have a microphone, you should join our ventrillo server. The information
will be linked several times before and during the raid both in the guild chat and raid.
--This is a requirement.
MC, ONY, BWL ATTUNEMENT REQUIRED.
Inactivity - If at some point a member must step out of the current guild
game for a significant amount of time they are to inform someone within the Inner Council in regards to when they plan on
leaving and approximately when they will be back. In this case they will be placed on the inactive list until they return.
Members who disappear for long periods of time with no word will be removed from the guild.
Players who apply for other guilds will be removed, we have no place for you. (Fearfrost has connections, do
not think he will not find out, cause he will).
